It’s somewhat rare to find a fully featured Rockshox Pike on a $3,500 bike, but Felt puts the RCT3 Solo Air version on its Compulsion 30. The 160mm bike utilizes Felt’s Equilink suspension system, paired with a custom-tuned Rockshox Monarch TR3 shock, Debonair air can, and high volume eyelet. A Shimano XT drivetrain, SLX brakes, and KS- Drop Zone dropper post round out this bike's impressive value spec.

Felt has a large line of kids’ bikes, including road, ‘cross, and mountain bikes. The company added bottom bracket drop to its Q20-S 20” and Q24 24" mountain bike models for more stability and better handling. Wider 600mm bars offer better control, while softer spring and lighter grease in the forks provide better action for the lighter riders.

The company’s AR FRD aero road bike is essentially unchanged for 2016. It uses the same frame shape that debuted in 2014 and UHC Advanced + TeXtreme carbon fiber, but it does see a few key spec changes. The Shimano Dura Ace Di2-equipped bike gains a Pioneer power meter and Continental Gran Prix 4000s II tires at the same retail price ($12,499) as this year’s model.

ZW4 Disc

“Shrink it and pink it” is the derogatory phrase often associated with women’s specific bikes. But Felt does more than switch up sizing and colors for its ZW line of women’s bikes. The frames are lighter and less stiff than the men’s models for a comparable ride quality. Stiffness-to-weight ratios are said to be almost the same. New for 2016: disc brake versions like this ZW4 Disc model.

Felt’s carbon cross bikes have been updated with 15mm front and 142x12 rear thru-axles. At less than 1,250 grams for the frame and fork, Felt says it’s the lightest cross frame out there. Stealth-routed dropper post compatibility is new for 2016. The F1x features Shimano’s Dura Ace Di2 group set up in a single ring 1x11 configuration with a new Rotor chainring with narrow/wide teeth. Even though the bike is 1x, there are two shifters. Felt has programmed the Di2 system to shift into harder gears by pressing either of the two right buttons and into easier gears when either of the two left shifter buttons are pressed. The company says it should make shifting in adverse weather conditions or while wearing winter gloves easier. This package will arrive in shops by September and run $6,999.

Felt’s new Bosch-powered BrüHaul cargo bike claims to weigh just 50 pounds, thanks to lightweight yet strong butted frame tubes. It can carry up to 200 pounds of cargo and has a range of 45-50 miles; the battery recharges in about 3.5 hours. It’s compatible with Yep’s kid seat kit systems, as shown here. Powerful Shimano Deore brakes are paired with larger 180mm rotors to slow heavy loads. Expect to pay $4,999 for the BrüHaul when it arrives in shops this August.
