If you haven’t gotten the call to join the peloton for the Tour de France this year, you might consider Jan Ullrich’s exclusive four-day trip around the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region (southeastern France bordering Italy) in July. For €20,000 ($21,375) you’ll get to try your legs on some of the most beautiful climbs in the world with full support, including bikes.

Ullrich was a highly decorated World Tour cyclist in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with a Tour de France win in 1997, a Vuelta a España win in 1999, and gold and silver medals in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. The German cyclist’s career was tainted, though, in 2012 when he was found guilty of a doping offense by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. And in 2013 he admitted to performance-enhancing blood-doping treatment throughout his reign at the top. Ullrich has also had a handful of other run-ins with the law in recent years.

Now 49, Ullrich is still working to put his scarred past behind him. And although pricey, he ultimately wants to help give others some unforgettable experiences on the bike. He hopes to give tips and help to those who join him on the four-day trek, and inspire them to explore the region even more.

The trip will include climbing Mont Ventoux at 1,912 meters (6,273 feet), and several flat stages. Think rolling vineyards, olive groves, and fields of lavender. It will also include a breakdown and analysis of the day’s ride each evening, just like the pros get. The accommodations are top-class, of course, including a luxury hotel with a spa and pool, all the food and drink you can imagine, and shuttle service to and from the airport. Just like the World Tour, the only thing you have to worry about is riding your bike.

The group will be capped at 12 riders, and will take place from July 13 to 16—right as the Tour de France is in the mountains. If you’ve got a pile of money to get rid of, there are certainly worse ways to spend a weekend.
